Unfortunately, because AuntFlo products are labelled as sanitary products, we cannot exchange them for another size, so the original pair will need to be kept.

Returned sanitary products cannot be resold, even when they are claimed to be unused, unworn, and unwashed. This helps us maintain strict hygiene, health, and safety standards for both customers and warehouse staff.

However, if you are a first-time customer and accidentally ordered the wrong size, we can gift you one pair in the correct size.

Depending on your flow and the absorbency level of the underwear you choose, you can wear period underwear on its own or add extra protection.

Take some time to discover what works best for you, as every period is different.

Our period underwear is also PFA free. PFAs are not used as part of the AuntFlo product design.

Knowing when to change period underwear depends on your flow, the garment's absorbency and your personal comfort.

1. Flow Level

• Light Flow: You may be able to wear period underwear for up to 8 hours, depending on its absorbency rating.
• Moderate Flow: Change approximately every 6-8 hours, particularly if you notice dampness or discomfort.
• Heavy Flow: On heavier days, changing every 4-6 hours can help prevent leaks. More frequent changes may be needed depending on your flow.

2. Signs of Full Absorbency

• Feeling Damp or Wet: Moisture or dampness indicates the underwear may have reached its absorbency capacity and should be changed.
• Discomfort: If the fabric becomes uncomfortable or starts sticking to your skin, changing is recommended for comfort and hygiene.

3. Personal Comfort

• If you feel less comfortable or confident, change the underwear even if it has not reached its absorbency limit.

4. Activity Level

• During exercise, swimming or other high-activity periods, you may prefer to change more frequently to stay comfortable and help avoid leaks.

5. End of Day / Overnight Use

• For overnight use, consider changing after 8-12 hours depending on your flow. With a very heavy flow, additional menstrual protection may be helpful.

Overall, listen to your body and change when you begin feeling uncomfortable so you can maintain confidence and hygiene.
