Size & Fit:
Lou & Lauren are wearing sizes Medium and XL.
Customer Feedback:
This style runs a little small - recommend sizing up.
How To Measure:
We want you to be as comfortable as possible on your period. Just follow the measurements above.
We recommend measuring yourself instead of relying on your usual size. Every style and pair varies, so please check this when ordering multiple styles.
If you sit between two sizes, we recommend sizing up.
Waist: Measure the narrowest part of your waist, below the ribcage and above your hip bone.
Hip: Measure the fullest part of your hip, keeping the tape measure straight.

What if I get the wrong size?
Oh no, the wrong size ended up in your cart...
Because our products are classified as sanitary items, we are not able to swap them over for you. They will need to stay with you.
Sanitary products that come back to us cannot be resold, even when they are unused, unworn and unwashed. That is how we keep hygiene, health and safety standards strict, protecting both our customers and our warehouse team. After all, we are here for the planet and for your health!
That said, if this is your first order with us, we are happy to gift you one pair in the correct size when the first purchase was made in the wrong size.
Just send us an email at contact@auntfloshapewear.com and we will sort it out with you!
Do I wear them on their own?
It depends on your flow and on the absorbency level of the pair you picked — you can wear our period undies by themselves, or together with some extra protection.
Give yourself a little time to find what suits you best. Every period is a unique one!
Is AuntFlo free from PFAs?
Yes — our period undies are PFA free. PFAs simply have no place in the way our products are designed.
How often should I change them?
How often you swap your period underwear comes down to a few things: your flow, the absorbency of the pair, and how comfortable you feel. These pointers should help you tell when it is time:
1. Flow Level
- Light Flow: With a lighter flow you can usually go up to 8 hours before changing, depending on the absorbency rating of the pair.
- Moderate Flow: On a moderate flow, plan on changing roughly every 6-8 hours — sooner if you notice any dampness or discomfort.
- Heavy Flow: During heavy days, changing every 4-6 hours is the safest way to avoid leaks. Depending on how much is absorbed, you may need to change more often.
2. Signs of Full Absorbency
- Feeling Damp or Wet: Noticing moisture coming through means the pair has hit its absorbency capacity and it is time for a fresh one.
- Discomfort: If the pair starts to feel uncomfortable, or the fabric feels like it is clinging to your skin, change them to stay comfortable and hygienic.
3. Personal Comfort
- If you are feeling less confident or comfortable — even before the absorbency limit is reached — go ahead and change. Comfort is what keeps you feeling secure through your period.
4. Activity Level
- Very active days — training, swimming, lots of moving around — often call for more frequent changes. All that movement shifts how absorption behaves, and a fresh pair keeps leaks off your mind.
5. End of Day / Overnight Use
- Wearing them overnight? Changing after 8-12 hours is a good rule, depending on your flow. On a very heavy flow, pairing them with a menstrual cup or tampon adds extra protection.
Above all, listen to your body and change whenever comfort starts to slip — that is how you keep both confidence and hygiene.
